Your First Visit
Your first visit to Uptowne Dental Centre will usually consist of a comprehensive examination and a review of your current oral situation and your treatment options.
The areas of focus will include the following:
- Overview of your medical and dental history
- Check for periodontal disease (gum disease)
- Diagnostic digital x-rays, intraoral pictures or photographs
- Cavity check
- Assessment of your bite (occlusion)
- Assessment of your Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ)
- Oral cancer screening
New Patient Form
Uptowne Dental recommends completing our new patient form prior to your first appointment if possible. All information is strictly confidential.* If you are not able to complete the form online, A member of our team will be able to assist you with the completion of this form prior to your examination.
Your Child's First Appointment
Children should have their first dental appointment within six months of the eruption of their first tooth. Early childhood appointments allow us to monitor your child's smile from the start and prevent any problems from developing.
At Uptowne Dental, it's our goal to provide positive early dental experiences for our young patients that will serve as a foundation for a lifetime of good oral health.

As a courtesy to our clients, we are able to submit your claims electronically to ensure that you receive faster reimbursement. For extensive dental treatment, we do offer payment plans. Please discuss with us for more details.
