Our Team

Heather graduated in 1993 and has been a part of the team at Uptowne Dental Centre ever since.

She loves dealing with people and has been able to develop great rapport with her patients.

In her spare time Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys.

After obtaining a bachelor of science degree in biology and psychology, Rossana went on to obtain a diploma in dental hygiene at George Brown College. Rossana has been a registered dental hygienist since 2003 and has been with our practice ever since graduating.

Rossana enjoys building relationships with her clients and helping them achieve optimal health while giving them professional care. When not working with our team Rossana enjoys traveling and spending time with her family

Ida graduated from dental hygiene in 1985. She started working at Uptowne Dental Centre in 1995.  She strives to be very thorough while being as gentle as possible.

Outside of work, she has three children and one grandchild. Her spare time is spent enjoying family, close friends, cooking and laughing.

Emese joined our dental team in May 2022. Originally from Romania, she moved to Canada in 2012, settled in Toronto and graduated Dental Hygiene School in 2017. She is passionate about getting to know patients and doing everything she can to make sure they receive the highest service and attention.

Educating patients is one of her goals, and another is to help them maintain the best oral health.

Away from the office, Emese loves to spend time with her family. She is passionate about discovering the outdoors, socializing making new friends and travelling.

Rena has been working at Uptowne Dental since 2017. After graduating from York University with a degree in sociology, Rena went on to St. Clair College and graduated as a Dental Hygienist in 1987.

Rena is dedicated to educating her patients about the aspects of healthy oral care and overall health. She strives to provide professional care with a focus on patient needs.

Rena loves meeting new people and getting to know her family of patients.

Away from the practice, Rena enjoys hiking, traveling, photography and cooking. Her favorite time is pending time with her wonderful two sons and daughter-in-law, family, and fun-loving friends.

Sahar graduated from Everest College in 2011 as a certified dental assistant she enjoyed dental assisting for over a decade before returning back to school to pursue Dental hygiene where she graduated and received her dental Hygiene certification from APlus Institute in 2021.

Having many interests, Sahar also completed her degree in pharmacology and compounding at Medix College in 2016.

Sahar enjoys promoting oral hygiene care in the office and throughout her community. Sahar has proudly created a patient educational binder which she refers to often to converse with her patients.

In her free time Sahar enjoys watching the food channel which inspired her to bake a tooth shaped chocolate cake!

Sally graduated from the Toronto School of Business in 1999 and began working at Uptowne Dental Centre in July of 2001.

Sally is passionate about dental care and loves conversing and assisting patients.

Beryl was born in the Seychelles and is an island girl at heart. She immigrated to Canada 24 years ago with her family and has proudly called Toronto home since.

Beryl graduated from Toronto School of Business in 1996.

Beryl has been a part of the Uptowne Dental family for 21 years as a certified dental assistant.

Jamie joined Uptowne Dental on September 2019.

In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and if possible, she travels to find peace and relaxation.

Shirley graduated with Honours from George Brown College as a Certified Dental Assistant in 2022.

She knew she wanted to pursue a career in dentistry when she got her braces.

During her free time, Shirley loves to spend time with her family & friends, travel, and spend outdoors biking, gardening. She is looking forward to welcoming you to Uptowne Dental Centre.

Grace joined Uptowne Dental in 2000, graduating with honours as a Certified Dental Assistant in 1991 as well as completing her CDAA Receptionists Certification in 1993. She brings many years of clinical and administrative experience to her role as practice manager.

Grace has outstanding organizational, communication and leadership skills and uses them daily to ensure Uptowne Dental continues to be committed to excellence.

Grace enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and travelling.

Rosa joined our administrative team in 2005. Over the years she has taken on the role of recall/patient coordinator.

She will greet you with a smile and is always happy to help book your appointments to accommodate your busy schedules.

She enjoys spending time with her family & friends and also enjoys baking, gardening and going on long nature walks.

Jessica joined our team in May 2021. Her warm and bubbly personality will lighten up your mood instantly. She has an incredible amount of experience in customer service and really shows it in her care with our patients.

Jessica’s previous experience as a flight attendant has really molded her into being a people’s person, and having great interpersonal skills.

In her spare time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, and always putting a smile on everyone’s face.
